June 12, 2003 was the official date marking 50 years of good fellowship together in the Upper Midwest Region.  Our charter with the Classic Car Club of America of that date, together with the Illinois Region are the first Regions chartered by the club.  In the past 50 years we have hosted many many events from poker rallies to pig roasts, Grand Classics and CARavans, and everything in between.

the 2003 Upper Midwest Region Anniversary Party and Grand Classic was held at the Holiday Inn, Minneapolis West this past June.

There were special tours, breakfasts and dinner, and even a dinner theater on the schedule, along with tours to premier  auto collections and great tours around the scenic Minneapolis  lakes area.

Sixty three Classic Cars were on the field for the Saturday event, and the results from the Grand Classic judging will be in the forthcoming issue of the Windshield Post and also in a future issue of the Classic Car.
